The client wanted privacy and light to come through the space. The surrounding area was wood trim and wood paneling. I wanted to complement the linear quality, thus the wood panel like design.

There was a stairwell to the left of the window which I imitated with the diagonals. I hand-beveled the colored pieces and bonded them on top of the triangle bevels which gives an added dimension.
